The iStarUSA BPN-DE110SS is a single-bay 6Gb/s trayless hot-swap cage — the third-generation design — that converts one standard 5.25" external drive bay into a hot-swappable SAS/SATA slot. The trayless and screwless design means drives slide directly in and out without any accessories for the fastest, simplest drive access available. Supporting 6Gb/s SAS I/II and SATA I/II/III with 4TB drive compatibility, it handles high-capacity drives at full interface speed.
The aluminum front bezel includes a metal key lock to physically secure the installed drive against unauthorized removal. The full aluminum integrative-shaping construction maximizes passive heat dissipation, with an optional 40mm fan available for environments requiring active cooling under sustained load. LED indicators provide real-time power and activity status. Deploy as a single expansion point or in multiples for a scalable multi-drive hot-swap setup.
