The iStarUSA T-5K25TU-SA is a versatile combo drive cage designed to maximize the functionality of a standard 5.25-inch drive bay. It converts a single bay into one slim optical drive slot and one 2.5-inch hot-swappable SATA drive bay, providing flexibility for modern storage and media configurations. With support for SATA I/II/III speeds up to 6Gb/s, the unit ensures reliable data transfer performance for SSDs and HDDs.
This trayless design allows quick and tool-less installation of 2.5-inch drives, making drive replacement simple and efficient. The integrated key lock mechanism provides added security, while LED indicators display power and drive activity for easy monitoring. The unit supports slim optical drives up to 12.7mm height and includes two front USB 3.0 ports, offering convenient high-speed connectivity directly from the front panel.
