The Dynatron R23 is a 2U passive CPU cooler designed for Intel Xeon E5-1600, E5-2600, and E5-4600 series processors on the LGA2011 platform. Passive coolers rely entirely on the server chassis’ own system fans and airflow path for heat dissipation — making them ideal for rack servers where chassis fan airflow is sufficient and silent, vibration-free operation is a priority. With a 135W TDP rating, the R23 handles the full thermal output of qualifying Sandy Bridge-EP/EX Xeon processors in properly airflowed 2U chassis.
At 62mm tall, it fits the height constraints of 2U rack server enclosures where active blower coolers may be impractical or unnecessary.
