The Asustor Lockerstor 2 Gen2+ (AS6702T v2) is a high-performance 2-bay NAS built for professionals, content creators, and power users who need serious network storage speed. Dual 5GbE ports deliver up to 10Gbps aggregate throughput via link aggregation — far exceeding the single 2.5GbE found on most consumer NAS units — enabling fast 4K video workflows, rapid backups, and seamless multi-user file access simultaneously. The Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor handles demanding workloads including Plex transcoding, Docker containers, and lightweight virtualization.
Four dedicated M.2 slots allow NVMe or SATA SSDs to be configured as read/write cache — dramatically accelerating frequently accessed data — or used as an all-flash storage tier alongside the two 3.5" SATA bays. Running ASUSTOR Data Master (ADM), it supports a wide ecosystem of apps including Plex, cloud sync services, Time Machine backup, snapshot protection, and remote access. HDMI 2.0 output enables direct 4K media playback from the NAS itself.
