This guide provides detailed instructions for assembling the Pibow 5 case with the Raspberry Pi 5. The Pibow 5 is a layered, precision-cut enclosure engineered to protect the board while maintaining optimal airflow, full port accessibility, and mechanical stability.

Required Components
Before beginning the assembly, ensure that all required components are available:
- Pibow 5 case (all layers and fixings)
- Raspberry Pi 5 board
- Active cooler (optional, recommended for sustained or high-performance workloads)
STEP 1: Install the Bottom Case Layers (Layers 0–2)
Begin by placing the bottom layers of the Pibow 5 case on a flat, static-free surface.
Align layers 0 through 2 in the correct orientation, ensuring that all mounting holes and ventilation cutouts are properly aligned.
These layers form the structural base of the case and provide clearance for airflow beneath the Raspberry Pi board.
STEP 2: Position the Raspberry Pi 5 Board
Carefully place the Raspberry Pi 5 board onto the assembled bottom layers.
Ensure that all external ports (USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and power) are correctly aligned with the corresponding cutouts in the case.
Apply gentle, even pressure to seat the board securely without flexing or stressing the PCB.
STEP 3: Install the Intermediate Case Layer (Layer 3)
Place layer 3 on top of the Raspberry Pi board, ensuring that it sits flush around the board perimeter.
This layer provides lateral stability and helps secure the board in position.
Verify that no components are obstructed and that the GPIO header and connectors remain accessible.
STEP 4: Install the Active Cooler (Optional)

Place layer 4 on top of the assembly, aligning it carefully with the existing stack.
This layer provides additional enclosure support and completes the main body of the case.
Confirm that the cooler, if installed, fits correctly within the enclosure and that ventilation openings remain clear.
STEP 6: Secure and Lock the Pibow 5 Case
Complete the assembly by installing the final locking components or fasteners provided with the Pibow 5 case.
Ensure the entire stack is firmly secured without overtightening.
Inspect the case to confirm:
All layers are evenly aligned
Ports are fully accessible
The assembly is mechanically stable
