The ARCTIC Alpine 23 CO (ACALP00036A) is the continuous operation variant of the Alpine 23, purpose-built for systems that run 24/7 or require consistently reliable cooling under sustained workloads. Unlike the standard Alpine 23 which uses a fluid dynamic bearing, the CO version features a dual ball bearing — the preferred choice for always-on systems, NAS builds, home servers, and industrial applications where long-term bearing reliability is critical.
It supports AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms with up to 95W TDP, handles Ryzen 3000 through 9000 series processors, and comes with MX-2 thermal paste pre-applied for immediate installation. The fan spins between 200 and 2,700 RPM via PWM — a higher ceiling than the standard Alpine 23, providing extra headroom for sustained load cooling.
