RetroPie
Credited to: Wagner's TechTalk
RetroPie allows you to turn your Raspberry Pi or PC into a retro-gaming console. It builds upon Raspbian, EmulationStation, RetroArch and many other projects to enable you to play your favourite Arcade, home-console, and classic PC games with the minimum set-up. The Raspberry Pi 4 now with faster processing speeds and better performance, it has the potential now to run games that were previously beyond Pi’s power.
Besides emulators and front-ends, a full retro-gaming experience also involves game pads or joysticks.

Pi-Hole
Pi-hole is a network-wide ad-blocker that protects your network from advertisements and internet trackers which acts as a DNS sinkhole and optionally a DHCP server, intended for use on a private network. It is designed for low-power embedded devices with network capability without requiring any setup on individual devices.
What you'll need?
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B or Raspberry Pi Zero
Raspberry Pi NAS
Using Raspberry Pi, you can connect your existing storage devices — such as external portable hard drives and USB flash drives — to create secure backups of all your important files, accessible from anywhere in the world.

Raspberry Pi Smart Mirror
The objective of this project is to use Raspberry pi displays applications on your mirror so that you can check the weather and local news while you are getting ready in the morning. It's also modular, so you can easy move it around or hang it on the wall if you like. It is customizable if you want to write some of your own code.

Machine learning on Raspberry Pi
Recently, You’re likely to hear about AI systems that use machine learning (ML). Machine learning is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows software applications to become more accurate at predicting outcomes without being explicitly programmed to do so. Machine learning algorithms use historical data as input to predict new output values. It’s algorithms are used in a wide variety of applications, such as in medicine, email filtering, speech recognition, and computer vision. We can say that programs created using ML are ‘trained’ on large collections of data to ‘learn’ to produce more accurate outputs over time.
One of the most interesting ML project is Object Detection on Raspberry Pi. You could build your Object Detection on a Raspberry Pi by a widely used software package called TensorFlow. This will allow you to build your own computer vision applications, either by using a Raspberry Pi camera or by plugging a webcam into one of the Raspberry Pi 4’s USB slots.

Raspberry Pi Tesla hack
Tesla’s operating system is known for having its own built-in features but there’s one capability that’s missing: support for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Apple CarPlay and Apple Music support are among the most-requested features, but with no indication that Tesla is going to implement these apps in its vehicles, Polish developer MichałGapiński shared the project which powered by a Raspberry Pi running a custom build of Android. That’s what makes it possible to load CarPlay into the Tesla in-car browser. The system works using a Rasberry Pi with an LTE modem and a Wi-Fi access point, running a custom Android-based firmware.
